If you’re looking for a virtually invisible yet highly effective solution to pest bird control, then the AVISHOCK system could be just what you need.
Working at all infestation pressures, it provides a humane deterrent that is set to change the face of urban bird management in the UK.
AVISHOCK Electric Pest Bird Deterrent System
While pest bird spikes, nets, and wires all offer a high level of protection against irritating and troublesome birds, they are not always suited to every occasion.
Although they do keep birds away, they are also visible from a distance, and therefore not the best option for those looking to preserve the appearance of their building.
Some buildings may also have unusual architectural features, such as a large number of curves or corners, which make it difficult to use these traditional forms of pest bird control.
For a discreet alternative, AVISHOCK is an innovative approach to deter birds from your buildings.
Why Is AVISHOCK System Different?
Unlike traditional methods of bird proofing, AVISHOCK doesn’t focus on physically stopping birds from reaching rooftops and ledges, nor does it use sound or optical illusions to scare them off.
Instead, it utilises a much cleverer approach.
Should birds land on or perch around the AVISHOCK system, they receive a harmless, small electric shock.
While this isn’t enough to cause the bird any injury, it certainly will give them a fright to encourage them to move elsewhere.
And because birds have excellent spatial memory, once they’ve experienced the electric bird deterrent, they associate the surface with discomfort and tend to avoid it long after.
Over time, more and more pest birds in your area will come to learn that this isn’t a place that they want to roost or nest on.
Just like an electric fence, the AVISHOCK bird system is effective at modifying the behaviour of pest birds so that they learn not to come anywhere near your property.
A Humane Yet Effective Approach to Pest Bird Control
As well as delivering excellent results, there are also a number of other benefits to using the AVISHOCK electric pest bird deterrent system.
Low Profile Bird Control Solutions
Although effective, nets and spikes can be a highly visible bird proofing solution.
For buildings that want to preserve their aesthetic features, such as UK’s many listed or historic sites, nets or spikes are out of the question.
The AVISHOCK system is made up of two thin strips of metal, which can be installed on even the most unusually shaped buildings.
Whether it is fixed directly to the wall, ledge, or roof in a single long strip. It is virtually invisible at a distance, so it won’t spoil the appearance of your building.
Cheap Electric Bird Deterrent
Despite using electricity, the AVISHOCK system is remarkably affordable to run,
The energiser sends a brief pulse along the track every few seconds rather than drawing continuous power, to keep birds away from your property.
When you weigh that against the cost of repairing stonework, clearing blocked drains, or cleaning years of accumulated fouling, the running costs are negligible.
Works on All Bird Species
The AVISHOCK bird control system is designed to be effective against all bird species.
This gives your property the ultimate physical barrier to deter bird populations.
