The National Pest Awards 2025 is being held at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester on the 17th of September and Pest Solutions is proud to be the finalists in two of the award categories this year.
Hosted by Pest Magazine, the National Pest Awards is known to be the pest control industry’s biggest event of the year. This awards event shines a light on the incredible work being done in this industry and recognises the people, businesses and organisations who help make it all happen.
National Pest Awards 2025 Finalists – Pest Solutions
At Pest Solutions, we enjoy when it’s time for The National Pest awards every year as it gives us an opportunity to talk about just how amazing our growing team is and how honoured we are to be finalists in not one but two categories at this incredible event!
This year Pest Solutions has been named finalists for the Diversity & Inclusion Award and the Sustainability Initiative of the Year 2025. We are happy to be considered as finalists in these two categories, and we wish each and every finalist the very best.
While we may be representing Pest Solutions as a whole at this event, we know that being finalists for these awards wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible team, from account managers to our graduate service technicians, our people are what make all that we do possible.
Diversity & Inclusion Award 2025 – Pest Solutions
Pest Solutions has been named on the list of finalists for the Diversity & Inclusion Award at the National Pest Awards 2025.
Being recognised in the category means a lot to us. We strongly believe in challenging tired tropes and pre-conceived notions about who a pest controller is and doing our part to help make the pest control industry one that anyone, no matter who they are, feels welcomed into.
This not only comes down to embracing diversity within the organisation but simultaneously ensuring that the work environment around every employee is one that is supportive and one that encourages learning and growth, giving each person the opportunity to thrive not only in their role but also in this industry.
Building diverse teams has helped us problem solve more effectively, made us more resilient to challenges we face as a business and makes the high standards we set for ourselves so much easier to reach and consistently maintain.
We thank the judges for recognising our efforts and making us finalists and we extend our congratulations to the other finalists in this category: Beaver Pest Control (Orkin UK) and Rentokil Pest Control.
Sustainability Initiative of the Year 2025 – Pest Solutions
Pest Solutions has officially made the list of finalists for the Sustainability Initiative of the Year category at the National Pest Awards 2025.
We are honoured to be in this category alongside our other finalists: Vergo Pest Management and London Network for Pest Solutions. We are glad to see other organisations and businesses in this space, stepping up to and setting the standard in the pest control industry by making sustainability a priority.
At Pest Solutions, we understand the importance of having conversations about sustainability, but our efforts don’t stop there as we believe in following through with action.
We have strong targets when it comes to sustainability, like our focus on achieving our Net-Zero target by 2030 that we’ve already made considerable progress. From reassessing and adopting new ways to do our reporting without excessive reliance on paper to our in-house changes like upgrading our fleet, adopting electric vehicles at the senior management level and shifting how we handle waste and recycling in the office.
We are pleased to have been able to successfully implement these measures within our organisation and know that this is just the beginning.
Shining Spotlight On Past Finalists and Winners
The National Pest Awards is an event our team at Pest Solutions enjoys attending every year. It’s a wonderful occasion to highlight the strides and notable achievements made within the pest control industry and recognise and celebrate the people and the businesses responsible for making it all happen.
Our team took the train down to attend the National Pest Awards 2024 and we were finalists for four different categories: Large Company of the Year 2024, Sustainability Initiative of the Year 2024 Finalist, Young Pest Controller of the Year 2024 Finalist Chloe Smith and Pest Controller of the Year 2024 Finalist Iain Mackinnon.
We were certainly amongst strong competition, and we were proud to find out that Pest Solutions was named as winners of the Large Company of the Year 2024 and Pest Business of the Year 2024. We know just how much constantly happens in the world of pest control and having a dedicated event to meet and celebrate with our friends and peers in the pest control industry sounds like a memorable evening for us all.
